Calling All Smiths
"THE I AM SMITH FAMILY REUNION" has been sanctioned by The Guinness Book of World Records as an official event:
On October 2nd, 2010, The "Rendezvous On The Square" festival which is held every year in Smith County, Tennessee is "Calling All Smiths" to help us set the new world record for the last same name gathering which is currently held by the Gallagher namesake which had 1,488 people in attendance.
Everybody with the surname of Smith will unite in an attempt to break the World Record held by the Gallagher's with the largest same name gathering. This event will be held in Carthage, Tennessee on October 2, 2010. Anyone with the last name Smith that attends will need to bring proof of ID on the day of the event.The organizers of "Rendezvous On The Square" are looking forward to this record setting event.
